Frequently asked questions

What is Disney Wish?
Disney Wish is the fifth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the lead vessel of the Wish class, and DCL's most technologically advanced ship at launch. She entered service July 14, 2022, from Port Canaveral. Wish introduced three firsts for Disney Cruise Line: LNG (liquefied natural gas) propulsion, Azipod azimuth thruster propulsion, and the AquaMouse — the world's first Disney ride at sea, themed to The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts. The ship's Grand Hall atrium is inspired by Cinderella's castle and features Cinderella and her iconic characters. Wish was christened with Make-A-Wish Foundation children as godchildren — all past, present, and future Make-A-Wish children.
What dining options are available on Disney Wish?
Disney Wish uses the signature DCL Rotational Dining system with three themed main restaurants. Uniquely for DCL, all three rotational restaurants on Wish have rich IP-driven narratives that make dining an entertainment event.
What spa and wellness facilities does Disney Wish have?
Senses Spa & Salon — comprehensive treatments including massage, body wraps, facials, hair, and nail services. Thermal suite with Rainforest Room (steam, herbal sauna, heated loungers). Fitness center with cardio and weight equipment. Running track on upper deck.
What are the staterooms like on Disney Wish?
Disney Wish has 1,254 staterooms. The ship features the Wish Tower Suite (1,966 sq ft) — the largest suite in DCL history at launch — a two-story penthouse with a personal concierge, private elevator, floor-to-ceiling views, and 180-degree panoramic balcony. Also available: themed Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser suites. Inside cabins include virtual portholes.
Where does Disney Wish sail?
Disney Wish operates 3- and 4-night Bahamas itineraries from Port Canaveral year-round. Itineraries include calls at Nassau and Castaway Cay. The shorter Bahamas sailings complement Wish's IP-dense entertainment programming — guests can experience everything without longer voyages.
