After a $21 million refurbishment, she entered Mediterranean service for Celestyal and was chartered by Phoenix Reisen in late 2023.

Ryndam was ordered by Holland America Line in November 1989 alongside two sister ships, built by Fincantieri in Monfalcone (hull 5883), launched 1 November 1993, and completed 9 September 1994. She was christened by Madeleine Arison. After 21 years with Holland America she was transferred to P&O Cruises Australia in 2015 as Pacific Aria, then sold in 2020 to Seajets and renamed Aegean Goddess. Celestyal Cruises acquired her in 2023, conducting a $21 million overhaul before entering Mediterranean service.
