Cruise along concentric waterways, past cherry red and oak-wood cladded houseboats, as you learn of its Golden Age history. Culture is also deep in Amsterdam’s DNA, and the Van Gogh Museum – which pays tribute to the tortured genius of the Dutch post-impressionist artist - stands out among its leading museums and galleries. One of history’s greatest tragedies is also rendered in heart-breaking clarity at Anne Frank House. Visit the site where the precocious teenager hid from the Nazi regime for so long, and the room where she penned the most famous diary ever written. Compact and easily walkable, Amsterdam remains consistently postcard-perfect as you watch bright bicycles trundling over ornate bridges, and stumble across hidden, tulip-decorated courtyards. ‘Gezellig’ is the local word for Amsterdam’s unhurried outlook on life. No translation can quite do the concept justice, but you’ll recognise it instinctively as hours float by in a happy haze browsing De Negen Straatjes street’s independent shops, or as you sip coffee with gooey stroopwafel. Broodje haring - a raw herring sandwich - is Amsterdam’s must-try delicacy, but many visitors find tompouce, a delicious pastry topped with vivid pink icing, a little more to their taste.
Antwerp
Antwerp is a stylish and sophisticated city filled with monumental reminders of its prosperous medieval and Renaissance past, currently reinventing itself as an exciting contemporary city. Long a major diamond center, it is now making a name as an important player on the world fashion scene. Belgium has the highest density of Michelin star restaurants in Europe, and Antwerp has become a hot spot for foodies. Numerous urban renewal projects are underway, especially in the arts, including MAS, a new museum of the city and a spectacular architectural achievement, and MoMu, a trendy fashion museum.

Our first own new building, the VIVA ONE invites with 88 cabins up to 176 passengers on feel-good moments on board. On the diamond deck there are four luxurious suites, which with 24 m² size and a balcony (approx. 2 m²) invite you to enjoy the beautiful view. On the Diamond Deck, as well as on the Ruby Deck, there are 19 m² Junior Suites, which have a French balcony. The main part of the cabins is made up by 2-bed cabins with 16 m² size. These have French balconies on the Diamond and Ruby decks and non-opening windows on the Emerald deck. All cabins are perfectly equipped with flat-screen TV, included mini-bar, Nespresso® machine, Beauty products from RITUALS®, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, shower and toilet.
From a technical and sustainable perspective, the VIVA ONE impresses with some special features and innovations. A total of 68 solar cells, distributed on both sides of the sun deck, support the on-board power system. The energy generated is also used primarily for the ship's bow thruster and for high power usage. In general, a lot of emphasis was placed on low energy consumption for lighting, pumps, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and galley and laundry equipment during the design process. The water treatment system is also state-of-the-art. Guests can refill their reusable VIVA drinking bottles at any time at two water stations in the lobby and at the bar, while VIVA glass carafes are available in the restaurant. To reduce fuel consumption, the ship features an efficient hull form, powertrain and fuel-saving autopilot to simplify navigation. Main and auxiliary engines are powered by clean synthetic GTL diesel, reducing local emissions.
