Cunard Line is a British shipping company and international cruise line based at Carnival House in Southampton, England, operated by Carnival UK and owned by Carnival Corporation & plc. Founded in 1840 as the British and North American Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, Cunard is the world's oldest operating transatlantic passenger line and, as of 2025, the only shipping company still operating a scheduled passenger service between Europe and North America. The line is renowned for its White Star Service, formal traditions, and its flagship transatlantic crossing aboard Queen Mary 2.
