Since its humble beginnings as a fishing village, Zihuatanejo has grown into a popular destination, yet still maintains its charms and traditional Mexican town atmosphere. Its ring of beautiful beaches and Zihuatanejo Bay make for great snorkeling, sailing, water skiing, with sport fishing being a major attraction.
