About Umivik
Umivik is a remote anchorage on the southeast coast of Greenland, used by expedition cruise ships navigating the rugged East Greenland coast. The fjord offers dramatic scenery of mountains and glaciers, with potential sightings of polar bears, walrus, and Arctic foxes. Historical Inuit ruins from the Thule culture have been documented in the area.
