Ulvik is a small village deep in the Hardangerfjord, Norway's second-longest fjord. The surrounding area blooms spectacularly in spring with apple and cherry orchards, earning the Hardangerfjord the nickname the 'Orchard of Norway'. The Hardangerfjord is also the setting for the dramatic Vøringsfossen waterfall, one of Norway's most visited.
