Ulsan is South Korea's industrial powerhouse, home to the world's largest Hyundai car factory and Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard. Despite its industrial character, the city offers the beautiful Ganjeolgot Cape — the easternmost point of mainland Korea where the sun first rises in South Korea — and Daewangam Park with pine forests and dramatic coastal rock formations.
