Trévoux is a historic small town on the Saône River in the Ain department, just north of Lyon. River cruise ships dock at the riverfront quay as part of Rhône/Saône itineraries. The old town features a 17th-century parliament building, the ruins of a medieval castle, and offers day trips to the Beaujolais wine region and Lyon.
