Sermilik is a fjord in eastern Greenland. It is part of the Sermersooq municipality. The settlement of Tasiilaq is located about 15 km to the east of the mouth of the fjord.
About Sermilik
Sermilik Fjord is a remote ice fjord in eastern Greenland near the settlement of Tiniteqilaaq. Dramatic icebergs calved from the Helheim and Midgård glaciers fill the fjord. Expedition cruise ships navigate carefully among the ice, while Inuit culture and polar wildlife including polar bears and ringed seals are the highlights.
