Sanya is a tropical resort city on the southern tip of Hainan Island, often called the 'Hawaii of China'. Its tropical beaches — particularly Yalong Bay, Da Donghai Bay, and Sanya Bay — palm-lined boulevards, and year-round warm climate make it a popular embarkation port for cruises in East Asia.
