Poole cruise port guide
About Poole
Poole is a coastal town and seaport on the south coast of England in Dorset, featuring one of the world's largest natural harbors. The town offers ferry connections to the Channel Islands and France, Blue Flag beaches, and easy access to Brownsea Island and the Jurassic Coast.
Brownsea Island — a National Trust reserve accessible by ferry from the Quay — is home to red squirrels and diverse seabirds. The Quay itself is lined with restaurants and pubs. The Poole Museum in the Old Town charts the town's maritime history. Kingston Lacy, a 17th-century country house, is 15 km north.
