About Mobile, AL
Mobile is Alabama's only seaport, situated on Mobile Bay where the Gulf of Mexico meets the mouth of the Mobile River. Home to America's original Mardi Gras (predating New Orleans), the city offers cruise passengers historic antebellum homes, Battleship USS Alabama, Fort Conde, and Bellingrath Gardens. Carnival Cruise Line has operated cruises from Mobile since 2001, currently with Carnival Spirit.
