Mljet cruise port guide
Mljet is the southernmost and easternmost of the larger Adriatic islands of the Dalmatia region of Croatia. The National Park includes the western part of the island, Veliko jezero, Malo jezero, Soline Bay and a sea belt 500 m wide from the most prominent cape of Mljet covering an area of 54 km².
About Mljet
Mljet is the southernmost large island in the Croatian Adriatic, often called the 'greenest island in the Adriatic' due to its dense forests of pine and holm oak. The western part of the island is a national park featuring two interconnected saltwater lakes, and ferries run regularly to the island from the Dubrovnik port of Gruž. Cruise passengers typically tender ashore to explore the national park's lakes and the 12th-century Benedictine monastery.
