About Marbella
Marbella is a glamorous Mediterranean resort city on the Costa del Sol in Málaga Province, Andalusia. With 44 km of coastline, 320 sunshine days per year, a charming 15th-century old town, and proximity to Puerto Banús, it is one of Spain's most celebrated leisure destinations.
The old town's Plaza de los Naranjos is the social heart, surrounded by the Tourist Office, Town Hall, and flower-draped tapas bars. The marble-paved promenade (Paseo Marítimo) lines the beachfront. Seven km west lies Puerto Banús, with its designer boutiques, casino, and superyacht marina. The Artola Dunes nature monument preserves one of the few protected natural beaches on the Costa del Sol. Golf courses are abundant in the surrounding hills.
