About Manokwari

Manokwari is the capital of West Papua province in eastern Indonesia, a coastal town on the Bird's Head Peninsula of New Guinea. It offers access to pristine tropical rainforest, coral reefs, and indigenous culture, and is a port of call on expedition and luxury cruise itineraries through Papua.

The summit of Table Mountain (Gunung Meja) provides dramatic panoramic views over the city and coastline.
