Palma de Mallorca is the capital of Mallorca (Majorca), the largest of the Balearic Islands of Spain in the Mediterranean. One of the busiest cruise ports in the Mediterranean, Palma is dominated by the spectacular Gothic Cathedral (La Seu), built on a promontory overlooking the bay.
