Lunenburg, Nova Scotia cruise port guide
Lunenburg is a port town on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. Founded in 1753, the town was one of the first British attempts to settle Protestants in Nova Scotia. The economy was traditionally based on the offshore fishery and today Lunenburg is the site of Canada's largest secondary fish-processing plant.

Lunenburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on Nova Scotia's South Shore, celebrated as the best-preserved example of a planned British colonial settlement in North America. The town's colorful Victorian waterfront, historic fishing heritage, and the famous schooner Bluenose II make it one of Atlantic Canada's most charming port calls. Cruise ships typically tender into Lunenburg Harbour, with the entire old town easily explored on foot.
