About Lobito

The Port of Lobito is Angola's largest port in the center of the country, set within the sheltered waters of Lobito Bay and protected from the Atlantic Ocean by the Lobito Peninsula. Opened in 1903, it includes a dedicated passenger terminal and serves as the Atlantic terminus of the historic Benguela Railway, which links Angola to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
