About Geiranger
Geiranger is a small village of 215 residents at the end of the UNESCO World Heritage Geirangerfjord in western Norway, receiving 140-180 cruise ships per summer season with approximately 300,000 cruise passengers annually. The port features a unique 236-meter Seawalk floating pier that moves out to accommodate ships, with 3-4 anchor positions, making it the third-largest cruise port in Norway.
