Emmerich am Rhein is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia at the German-Dutch border on the Rhine River, the last German city before the Rhine crosses into the Netherlands. It is an occasional Rhine river cruise stop, home to the Rhine Museum and the longest suspension bridge in Germany.
