Cayo Levantado Port (also known as Samaná Port or Fondeadero Port) is located in Arroyo Barril, Samaná, Dominican Republic. The port was built in 1977 as a free commercial port and does not receive container operations, currently operating irregularly.
The port area has a mostly sunny tropical climate. Hurricane season runs June to November. Average temperature range is 28–30°C. Prevailing winds come from the ENE–ESE direction.
