Piraeus' giant port and naval base welcome you to the edge of the Athens' urban area. From there it's a simple jaunt to the centre. The wonderful remains of the columned temple of the Parthenon - which date back to the 5th century BC - stand here, representing the pinnacle of classical architecture. Day 3 Aug 7, 2027 Fiskardo, Kefalonia 08:00 – 16:00 8.0 hrs ashore We know you’ll be won over by the charm of this fishing village located north-east of the island of Cephalonia. A best kept secret of the Ionian archipelago, Fiskardo gives onto the coasts of Ithaca, home of legendary king Odysseus. To see the coasts, just walk out onto the jetty. Day 11 Aug 15, 2027 Porto Empedocle, Sicily 08:00 – 17:00 9.0 hrs ashore Porto Empedocle has long been an important fishing and trading port.
