HX Expeditions

HX Hurtigruten Expeditions is an expedition cruise line spun off from Hurtigruten in 2021 and subsequently sold as an independent company in 2024/2025. Operating a small fleet of purpose-built expedition ships, HX focuses on remote and polar destinations including Antarctica, the Arctic, and the Galápagos. The company operates the ships Spitsbergen, Fridtjof Nansen, Roald Amundsen, and Fram, as well as the Santa Cruz II in partnership with Metropolitan Touring for Galápagos itineraries.
